I took a discover scuba diving class here recently. I was nervous about it. I was instructed on the gear, what we were going to be doing In the pool and other important info.
I put the gear on, got in the pool. As soon as I went under and tried to breathe I started to freak. HEAVY AND LABORED. I almost gave up, very close. My Dive Instructor Jodie, God bless her, she got me back under, coached me (under water) to take nice easy breaths. A few minutes later, cleared mask, cleared regulator, ears. A 1/2 hour later I was playing catch with a torpedo toy in the deep end. I had such a good time. I will be getting my cert from Deep Blue. You Rock Jodie! – via google

Fantastic service. Friendly too. I got my Henderson 3 ML thick short sleeve swim jacket. First size was verified against my old one. Then they shipped the product to me without any problem. Thank you. I will always order my swimming, snorkling gear from you. One local dive shop in Huntington Beach refuse to take an order for just one item. LOL. – via google

I have had the best experience with Deep Blue Scuba.

My boyfriend and I took the Open Water certification with Jodie and assisted by Julian. They were both so, so helpful. Jodie’s kindness and patience is unmatched. I’ve heard of centers just passing people that aren’t truly competent in the skills being taught just to pass people. They are willing to take time one on one to make sure you really know the skills and are comfortable. I couldn’t wait to take the Advanced Open Water Cert.

Due to an under-developed bottom jaw, pulling my jaw forward for long periods for a typical regulator would be pretty uncomfortable for me so I bought a full face mask. Full face masks are a skill in themselves so I enrolled in the Full Face Mask class. Jodie was my instructor, for which I was really thankful as she already knew my strengths and weaknesses.

*Note* If there’s a class or certification you’re interested in just let them know. They are happy to work with you and find some time that works for everyone.

I’ve registered for the Advanced Open Water now and can’t wait to do that class.

I’ve referred a friend who did the Reactivate class to brush up on her skills (she was certified 30 yrs ago.) She loved it.

I’ve rented from them a few times and they’re always super helpful and informative. Definitely excited to keep learning and diving more.
