Going to make this REALLY easy for ANYONE looking for Scuba classes, gear, or confidence!!! The ENTIRE group is FANTASTIC!!! Kat, JP, Teresa, ALL of them. I went in terrified…. came out…HOOKED and this has been LIFE changing for me!!! JP is a wonderful instructor who give you hard lines that will keep you alive and confidence to do it!!! Everyone in the shop was thoughtful, and patient. I knew NOTHING and they had me laughing and smiling on the way out the door!!! JUST DO IT!! You will be so happy that you went with them. I am currently in the process of getting my PADI Open Water diving certification and went to Scuba Outfitters after completing my online coursework to complete my pool exercises. I am so glad that I went to them! My instructor was Katt- and she was very knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and fun. She made me feel very comfortable and was very patient with me. I already had my instructor-led open water dives scheduled in Roatan (where I plan to dive in the open water for the first time), but after my experience with Katt- I wish I had scheduled to do them with her! What a great shop! They have everything you could need or they will order it. The owner Mike is always guiding me and helping me with my gear even when I had taken my course elsewhere. I ran into issues with other shop and he was very honest and helpful to get me taken care of. Katt, is also amazing and knowledgeable, helped me pick out my BC which is so amazing. When Mike isn’t around Katt is always there to help, super friendly and offers honest opinions on equipment and courses. They’ve all become like a second family and even invite me along to dive with them on their trips. No matter what you need or questions you have don’t hesitate to visit and contact Scuba Outfitters. I’ve been to shops throughout the entire state and they’ve become my go to and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my life. Theresa, thank you too for putting together my backplate and wing setup!!
