I had one of the worst experiences at this place back in January 2020. It still haunts me to this day which is why I am going back to write this review. Checked in and was very disappointed by the quality of bed as well as sheets. The bed was 2″ thick so minus well have slept on the hard floor. The bedding looked like it was donated from a children’s orphanage. Totally random and not comfortable for an adult. Then the bathroom had black mold all over it. TOTALLY EXPOSED like not even hidden just out there for you to see and touch and breathe in. A few hours in my nose was stuffed and my eyes watering. After reaching out to the front desk they told us they have no other rooms available. Lying straight to our face when their schedule board of rooms is written on a white board directly behind them. LOL what kind of hospitality is that, not Filipino that is for sure. I felt so bad for the Filipino staff the Chinese owner would yell at them constantly which was awkward as a guest to see. On top of that Agoda would not even give me a refund for the one night we had to stay there I had to dispute it with my credit card. I see the hotel is closed and I hope for everyone’s sake it does not reopen under the same owner. It is a halfway house not a hotel and Agoda needs to do better to protect it’s costumers from harmful experiences like this. – via
