These guys know the wrecks very well! Matt was my dive master and took me down through 4 wrecks. VERY PROFESSIONAL! He knows his way around and when you are down 35 to 40 meters inside a ship you want to know that you are in good hands. Be very careful if you are using a local dive master that has not great experience down there. There have been fatal incidences with these wrecks. The resort was nice. Food was good and the employees very pleasant. If you want a massage the massage table is outside near a walkway. Not the most comfortable place the get a massage but you are really here for the wrecks which are spectacular and I would say one of the best dive experiences that I have ever had! – via

I stayed here 5 days for diving and it was fantastic. I got lucky and met a great group of divers and we all got on very well. Matt the Dive Master is incredible knowledgeable and thorough. The accommodations are simple, but what more do you need on a remote island? – via

A place to di(v)e for!
We spend 4 days at Chindonan Resort and we had the most wonderful and memorable stay.
The place is located right next to the famous ship wrecks and beautiful reefs what makes it an exceptional spot to dive.
We were lucky to have a deluxe seaview room so we could the ocean through the palm trees from our private terrace.
The owner of Shondonan Resort, Per, created an enclave in the middle of the bay and it’s the only resort on this remote island, which for us made it even a better experience.
Huge thanks go to our amazing instructors Noeme and Matt – extremely professional, helpful and above all lovely people! They took a great care of us on every step of our diving way and made our stay an amazing experience.
We wouldn’t be fair without mentioning Cesar the dog! Super smart and friendly dog who kept us company for the whole stay!
The food was top notch! Fresh and delicious every single day made by the local staff.

Some rooms without air conditioning and daytime electricity. There is power 24/7 in the lobby/dining room. Owner is planning all rooms to become solar power. Rooms clean, food excellent, dive shop first class. Dive boat is fast and dive sites are close. Lots of wrecks and coral. – via
