My partner and I completed our advanced open water here and did several fun dives here over 5 days.
Staff: Widely discussed in other reviews and they are accurate. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks Eva for guiding us on our dives.
Location: Scandi felt private (many other resorts are densely packed together in Sabang) but close enough to be a very short walk to other restaurants and activities. Ideal location for hanging out and not feeling crushed by people/other buildings. Majority of rooms are sea-view from what I could tell.
Diving: Literally wake up and walk out the door with just my swimsuit and go-pro, walk 100 ft onto one of the boats (staff loaded it with my gear), and a 2-5 min boat ride to a variety of dive sites. The density and variety of life and diving here is absolutely wild. Wrecks, drifts, walls, scenic shallows, caves, etc.
Amenities: Solid dive shop. They fill their own air (regular, nitrox, possibly others), have a separate lockable room for photography/videography gear, all the necessary cleaning stations post dive, their rental gear was in good condition, have several boats in good condition and can rent more nearby if need be, and many other things I’m likely missing. Not to mention a full spa, small shop, and several restaurants.
Food: Good food and drinks. Have seen some reviews knocking it, but generally I found it to be good (specifically breakfast and the Asian dishes). Pizza was not so great. If you don’t like it, there are a number of restaurants a very short walk away in Sabang.
Room: All necessary things we there, enough room to dump everything, space to work on laptop, comfortable bed and AC, etc. When I needed something, the owner (hi Doc) went out of his way to get it for us.
Pricing: I had multiple resorts in the area quote packages for us and Scandi was the most competitive, which worked out nicely because its a great spot. – via

Puerto Galera is a great dive location! So many sites with coral, macro life and turtles. The resort is great, resting in a quiet bay that I learned was one of the best snorkeling locations anywhere (though I didn’t snorkel but will next time). Scuba (and all) staff is enthusiastic and every member of the team so friendly. Massages on location, perfect, but within walking distance of town if you wish to see it. The owner is a great guy, as well and it was fun chatting with him. I will return here! – via

I did my advanced PADI with Scandi. The dive team were fantastic, really helpful and professional. We got to do some lovely dives in the area and the instruction was very clear. The other staff were fantastic too, very friendly and helpful. They helped me organise the next leg of my journey via vans and buy a ferry ticket which was difficult to get without a philippino phone number! Special mention to Anie, who was brilliant.
The amenities are very good. The food was really tasty and reasonable. The coffee is some of the best I’ve had in the Philippines too.
The room was nice, clean with tv and WiFi. The shower and en-suite was nice too. Lovely views across the bay. – via
