We were in the chalet next to the compressor for the scuba tanks but luckily it didn’t work all night..
We suffered a power outage of at least 10 hours during the day, and therefore no fan and no running water… (depending on the pumps…)… quite frustrating when it’s 30 degrees Celsius with 80% of humidity..
Apart from all that, it’s quite quiet, the view is beautiful, the chalet clean..
Not really a beach and a lot of rubbish in the water that didn’t make us want to swim…too bad, but that’s linked to monkeys (who rummage through garbage cans..) and a certain number of bad habits of some humans, not necessarily on this site.. ah the need for education!!
Needs some painting/maintenance but looks in progress. The 2 years of Covid restrictions must have created a lot of worries..
It’s a bit far from downtown Semporna, and sometimes difficult to get a taxi..
Pamela at the reception was very efficient, very good. Great snorkeling outing on the islands well arranged.

Bonne expérience même si les singes (macaques) sont très présents, malins et mettent un gros bazar bruyant très souvent… Mais la jungle est à côté, difficile cohabitation..
Par contre, du ifficile de s’expliquer pourquoi la mosquée voisine a besoin de diffuser par haut-parleurs des incantations jusqu’à 2h du matin…
On était dans le chalet à côté du compresseur pour les bouteilles de plongée mais heureusement, ça ne fonctionnait pas toute la nuit..
On a subit une coupure électrique d’au moins 10h en journée, et par conséquent pas de ventilo et pas d’eau courante.. (depent des pompes..).. assez frustrant quand il fait 30 degrés Celsius avec 80% d’humidité..
En dehors de tout ça, c’est assez calme, la vue est belle, le chalet propre..
Pas vraiment de plage et beaucoup de détritus dans l’eau qui ne nous ont pas donné envie de nous baigner…dommage mais ça, c’est lié aux singes (qui fouillent les poubelles..) et à un certain nombre de mauvaises habitudes de certains humains, pas forcément sur ce site.. ah le besoin d’éducation !!
Il y a un peu besoin de peinture/maintenance mais ça a l’air en cours. Les 2 ans de restrictions Covid ont dû créer pas mal de soucis..
C’est un peu loin du centre ville de Semporna, et parfois difficile d’avoir un taxi..
Pamela à la réception a été très efficace, très bien..Super sortie palmes-masque-tuba sur les îles bien arrangée.
Nourriture locale correcte et pas chère
