It was so special having my certified friend come on the dives with us as my companion diver, too. Everyone at the shop is welcoming and helpful, and Julio’s instruction was thorough and encouraging. Although the final diving experience was really good the overall management not so far. The instructor/guide was a very experienced diver, however the overall management was quite chaotic. We ended up missing a regulator and a mask once arrived at the shore. The equipment were very outdated and overused. – via

Second time diving with Agua Clara and second time they do a great job! They offered my group the most flexibility when creating an itinerary. The guides were great, very professional, and super dedicated to safety. Marcello, Hiero and Liz were great as dive guides and funny as hell on the surface. My friends and I had a blast. Where Agua Clara as a dive shop really went above and beyond was their flexibility and understanding when it came to rescheduling things and even canceling due to health reasons. – via

We just finished our 6-days cenote diving with Agua Clara. We had a big group and dove with Hairo, Liz and Marcelo. All of them had different personalities but everyone is very experienced and we had an amazing time. The dive-shop was very good at accommodating all our needs. Agua Clara Diving is THE BEST diving center in Tulum. I pursued my PADI Open Water Certification with the help of instructor Hairo, including two days of scuba diving in Casa Cenote (breathtaking mangroves, fish, and a friendly crocodile) and a final day diving at Cozumel Reef, the second largest reef in the world.

I could not have asked for a better instructor than Hairo. Three reasons why Hairo is the best:

1) He is a very thorough teacher, taking time to sit down before each dive to walk me through upcoming drills for the day. This helped me feel prepared before each dive.

2) He is a fantastic coach when it comes to actually getting into the water – I felt calm and safe the entire time, despite not having dived before.

3) One of my favorite things about Hairo is how intelligent he is! On the car rides to each dive, I found myself so impressed with all of the knowledge he would share. Whether it was about scuba itself, the culture of Mexico, or a history lesson – he is such an interesting person to have a conversation with.

4) Bonus reason: Hairo is hilarious, and so nice!

Gracias Agua Clara for an unforgettable three days and for going above & beyond my expectations. I’m already booking my next dive! – via

Tanto Liz en los cenotes como Eyal que nos llevo a bucear en Cozumel se preocuparon muchísimo porque tengamos una excelente experiencia y que aprendamos un montón ! I had an amazing trip diving cenotes with Agua Clara Diving Tulum. I completed my Open Water Padi course with them and couldn’t recommend them enough – especially my fantastic instructor Hairo!! Hairo was very informative and professional and I enjoyed both the time in and out of the water that we spent together. I would highly recommend both Agua Clara and Hairo. – via

Great cave diving experience with the Dive Master “Marcelo”. One of a life-time experience dive in the Mayan Riviera’s cenotes! Los Dos Ojos. Marcelo was very knowledgeable and calm, and he made my experience a memorable one! Rented equipment and gear were also in a very good condition. I highly recommend this diving center for anyone looking for a good experience! – via

I traveled to Tulum for the final four dives for my Open Water certification. I am so happy I made that decision! I was able to take two cenote and two ocean dives. What really impressed me was my Dive Guide, Hairo. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the dive, every detail and skill, and is a very likable guy. Honestly, I would travel to Tulum again just to dive with him! – via
