I recently moved to western Mass and finally decided to go for the PADI open water certification after a few years of deliberation. I looked for a shop nearby and luckily Enfield Scuba was only 10 minutes away! From the first time I stepped foot into the shop to the day I got my open water certification (yesterday), everyone I met has been beyond friendly and accommodating. From the shop owner John, to our diving instructors Chris and CJ, to the shop manager John, I felt more comfortable than I expected to be in a situation where I knew nothing and was basically starting from scratch. Words can’t even express how incredible the whole experience was, and I’m considering getting my advanced open water certification through Enfield Scuba as well since I had such a great time with my open water.
If you’re unsure about getting a PADI certification, then here is your sign to just do it. You won’t regret it! – via

I can’t say enough good things about this dive shop! They tailored a plan to help me get my Open Water certification which I got today. They made sure I got my pool skills in, and John Langlois himself filled in at the last minute when my regular instructor had to cancel and time was an issue as I was leaving on a dive trip the following week. He also advised me and gave me a great deal on a ladies BCD, so I got a much better quality BCD than I was planning on. After 4 dives, I can say it’s an excellent choice and I feel very safe in it. It helped ensure my Open Water Certification today. I feel welcomed as part of their dive shop community, and I urge anyone to deal with them for either buying gear or taking lessons. – via

We are just wrapping up an epic week of diving in Cozumel with Enfield Scuba. I cannot express enough what an amazing job they do not only to train divers to dive safely and responsibly, but also their trips are planned out thoughtfully with attention to detail that is most appreciated. If that were not enough, John Langlois and Laura Seese create such a family atmosphere on trips that each time we have dive trips, we not only experience awesome diving but they set up fun group events to do outside of diving and we walk away each time with new friends. They attract quality people who genuinely enjoy spending time together to share this amazing sport. – via
