We were not very lucky with the weather so the boat trip was quite rough and the visibility in the water wasn’t great either..but, I still appreciate Sofia’s patience and fast response to all my questions and San was our guide that tried his best to keep me safe (I’m newly certified and was scared of the currents), and he took us nice photos too! 🙂 thx guys! – via google

All I’m going to say is, wow!

I have been diving all over the world and Komodo was the icing on the cake. Blue Marlin Dive was professional, friendly and satisfied are every need.

We did a refresher in the pool with Robert who made the next day of diving so much better. I would suggest this to anyone who has not been diving for a while.

Top notch gear and an amazing boat. Every step of the way I felt like I was being educated from the instructors and staff. The boat briefings were consistent and precise. Sandra was such a great guide and always had us laughing on the boat.

Honestly so great! Making the reservation was easy. The team were all very friendly – both the divers and those in the office. The trip itself was just stunning – so great! Boat was lovely, food was great, coffee was great, company was great. Just brilliant – they clearly are quite thoughtful and care about their customers.
I always do one negative point – here I would say my guide was a bit too eager to get back to the surface – I had plenty of air left on all three dives! – via google

The whole crew is working for dive komodo for many years and is a very kind and helpful team. I’ve worked as a divemaster so take it from there.
Going to be fully honest on this review, it could’ve been great but loads of little things just added up.

Divemaster was a nice guy but so unprofessional, blowing bubbles underwater while the other divers are trying to figure out where to go or what to do.
One diver came to me underwater for advice as the divemasters fully ignored him (he had issues with his mask).
We were told it was 275k for the entrance fee but then that day they said 350k as it was a Sunday (I don’t mind, just let me know ahead of time).
When I paid for our dives I was told the GoPro was already included in the payment I made that day (not free of course)… which apparently it wasn’t (it also didn’t work for the first dive… it needed to be formatted), so you can tell your staff didn’t check it prior me taking it.

Saw loads of amazing stuff, but the professionalism of this company is not the best. I’ve worked as a divemaster plenty of times and in different countries. In my opinion, for the price we paid it wasn’t the best. – via google

My experience at Dive Komodo was absolutely amazing! I was there for 4 weeks as a Divemaster Trainee and got to know them very well. Highly recommended for fun dives, for learning how to dive and for becoming a divemaster!

Everyone is very nice and friendly and always going out of their way to help the customers and accommodate everyone’s needs and desires while always putting safety first. In fact, all the customers I met during my time there were very happy and truly excited at the end of the dive day.

Sofia Tedestam was my instructor and I felt so uplifted every time I saw her. Always smiling, positive, resourceful and very creative in finding ways to get me trained in spite of the limited time we had. She was so good at giving feedback and developing me: we always spent 30 minutes to an hour after the diving day to discuss my performance, training plan and how to get better. She empowered me from day one and made me more self-confident.

As for the dive center, they are truly engaged in the local community: they continuously host high school trainees and develop the locals from open water divers all the way to divemaster. They’re also very conscious about the environment and we event went to clean a beach once together with Trash Hero!

My heartfelt thanks go to Sofia, the divemasters, the office staff and the boat crews.

I miss you guys and will surely go back to dive with you again! – via google

My experience with Dive Komodo was awesome! We did a day trip of diving (3 dives) with them. After having a scary experience current diving with another company, we were feeling a little uneasy about current diving around Komodo. Lando and Sophia genuinely listened to our concerns about the currents and Lando gave excellent detailed dive briefs and made sure we felt safe and comfortable before we got in the water. We did end up with currents, but because of the dive team and crew, we always felt safe and we had some truly amazing dives! I highly recommend Dive Komodo if you are thinking of diving in the area. They are professional, experienced and fun! And the food on the boat was amazing. We will be back, and hopefully join one of the Liveaboards they offer on our next trip. We went to a 2 dive trip with Sofia as our instructor and everything was great. From the day we tried on the gear, a day prior to the day of the dives, until getting back safely to the pier, the Dive Komodo team take care of every detail to make you feel safe and enjoy your dives. We were lucky to dive just below the Manta Point and were surrounded by more than 10 mantas. Go ahead and book that trip! – via google
