We did our AOWD and Nitrox here. We had two great instructors. Once the Frenchman (unfortunately I don’t remember his name anymore, so I’ll call him Louis de Funés). Louis taught us how to buoy to perfection on day one. Despite the language barrier (My English not so good), Louis got it across well. We were informed in advance whether it was okay that the buoyancy can be carried out in English or postponed until a German-speaking one is free ☝️ Safety here is also very good! While diving, I suddenly had thigh cramps and Louis immediately acted correctly and solved the “little problem” while still under water. Thank you Louis afterwards we talked comfortably at the base despite the language barrier. Then we had Albert on our cheeks for two days.
He was also great in guiding us, explaining things and improving our deficits. Best man
You will definitely not be ripped off here and diving will be taught to you well. The colleagues here are all super cool. Maybe we’ll come by again next year and then you’ll have us on our cheeks for a few days

Klasse Tauchschule!

Wir haben hier unseren AOWD und Nitrox gemacht. Wir hatten zwei super Tauchlehrer. Einmal der Franzose (leider weiß ich nicht mehr wie er heißt, deswegen nenne ich ihn mal Louis de Funés). Louis hat uns am ersten Tag beigebracht, wie man in Perfektion tariert. Trotz Sprachbarriere (My English not so good) hat es Louis gut rübergebracht. Wir wurden vorab informiert ob es in Ordnung sei, dass die Tarierung Englischsprachig ablaufen kann oder verschieben bis ein deutschsprachiger frei ist ☝️ Auch die Sicherheit hier ist sehr gut! Beim Tauchen hatte ich plötzlich Oberschenkel Krampf gehabt und Louis hat sofort richtig gehandelt und noch unter Wasser das “Problemchen” gelöst. Danke Louis anschließend haben wir trotz Sprachbarriere gemütlich an der Base uns unterhalten. Anschließend hatten wir zwei Tage lang den Albert an der Backe.
Auch er hat uns super geführt, erklärt und unsere Defizite verbessert. Bester Mann
Abgezockt wird man hier definitiv nicht und das Tauchen wird einem gut beigebracht. Die Kollegen sind hier alle super cool drauf. Vielleicht kommen wir nächstes Jahr Mal wieder vorbei und dann habt ihr uns für ein paar Tage an der Backe

What I found a bit strange was the fact that you dived the same spot or the same wreck twice per trip. No idea why we didn’t drive to the next spot in the break between dives. Maybe that’s common here or the wrecks are very far apart. It wasn’t sooo worth seeing or big to dive there twice in a row.

And it was a bit strange that no guide dived with us. In other words, there was brief information at the top of what, how, where and then it started. Since I was there alone, it felt strange :-). But the rest of the people were an experienced diving group that I then joined. Nevertheless, I would always find a guide better in such a case.

But that doesn’t detract from the stars. I would definitely come again.

Ich habe mich super aufgehoben gefühlt. Obwohl ich wirklich alles vergessen hatte, ging alles ziemlich problemlos. Das Team ist auch super sympathisch.

Was ich ein wenig seltsam fand, war die Tatsache das man pro Ausfahrt zwei mal den selben Spot bzw. das selbe Wrack betaucht hat. Keine Ahnung warum wir nicht in der Pause zwischen den Tauchgängen zum nächsten Spot gefahren sind. Vielleicht ist das hier üblich bzw. die Wracks sehr weit auseinander. Sooo sehenswert oder groß war das jetzt nicht um gleich zwei mal hintereinander dort zu tauchen.

Und es war etwas strange das kein Guide mitgetaucht ist. Sprich es gab oben ne kurze Info was, wie, wo und dann ging es los. Da ich alleine dabei war, fühlte sich das komisch an :-). Die restlichen Leute waren aber eine erfahrene Tauchgruppe bei denen ich mich dann eingeklinkt habe. Dennoch fände ich in so einem Fall einen Guide immer besser.

Das tut den Sternen aber keinen Abbruch. Ich würde auf jeden Fall noch mal kommen. – via google
