I had an absolutely fantastic time diving with Shulamit!
I completed my nitrox course here last week I did the e-learning from home and then on the day of my dives Shlomo walked me through everything to make sure my knowledge was on point.
Prior to my first dive I had to do a refresher since I hadn’t dived in over six months, Shlomo again walked me through everything and detailed all the exercises we would go through before going into the water he was also very patient and happy to go through exercises again even once in the water to ensure that I understood everything.
The dives take place in smaller groups with excellent diver to guide ratio in my case it was 3:1
Leading to the second dive we ended up encountering very strong winds which meant we had to abort diving from the boat but rather than end the day there Shulamit arranged transport for us to a shore dive location and we continued from there.
All in all I had a fantastic day/experience diving with Shulamit I would definitely rate them five stars in regards to professionalism, customer service, quality of gear, quality of guides and sixth star (if I could) for having a boat. I will definitely dive with Shulamit again and I look forward to the next time I’m in Eilat. – via

I had a great time diving in Eilat with Shulimat!
I’ve been diving for 30 years and have been an instructor for 20 of those years. I’ve logged over 5000 dives, many of which were in some of the best dive sites worldwide. I can honestly say Shulimat does as good of a job as any boat diving operation I’ve ever gone with, anywhere in the world. She and her dive masters run her boat with the utmost safety and professionalism, and I really appreciated how gracious and accommodating they were.
Anyone who has a fair amount of experience boat diving has come across a captain who treats all the customers/divers like they are idiots, which can be very intimidating for new divers. Shulimat and her crew were the exact opposite. It was immediately apparent that their goal was safety and fun (which are almost always my 2 top goals for any dive!)
1st day we had open water divers on the boat, so our max depth was around 15 meters. 1 wreck and 1 reef. Both on air.
2nd day was with all very experienced divers (master diver and above) so we hit around 30 meters on the first dive. Both dives were reefs. Both on Nitrox 30. They were even cool with us doing a shot deco.
I love diving with captains who take diver experience level into dive site decisions, instead of just doing the same dives over and over no matter who is on the boat.
I highly recommend diving with Shulimat no matter your experience level. She has really good prices, and well equipped boat with plenty of gear storage and a fresh water shower.
Overall it was Awesome experience, and I will definitely dive with her again next time I’m in Israel.
BTW
Red Sea diving in Eilat is all I thought it would be! It’s very much like diving in a huge aquarium. Good viz, low seas, a lot to see. I would recommend at least a shorty. Even though air temp was 37c, water temp was 24c. Also, apparently best viz occurs in Sept./Oct. – via
