I am very happy that out of many, many diving centers I decided to dive with Pro Dive.
Staff is very friendly and chill and you can see they work as a great team. Everything is coordinated, on time and easy going. Diving gear is kept in perfect condition and there is a large selection to choose from.

Special thanks to Aisha, Donovan and especially to our divemaster James. I’ve been diving with many instructors but James is simply on a different level. Very professional, yet friendly and relaxed. Takes time to explain everything and does it in an excelent way. Throughout the two diving courses me and my partner done there wasn’t a single moment when we felt uncofortable in any way.

We’ve had some of the best diving experiences of our lifes!

Prodive center is an amazing center with an amazing staff. All staff as well as owner are there for you. I conducted 4 dives with a dive guide James. James is a passionate & expert in all dive sites around the island of Mauritius. Always ask James for recommendations on the dive type you wish for & James will make it happen immediately. I had also spent my PADI advanced with them, and was very happy with their welcome and their professionalism. It was therefore quite naturally to them that I returned when I returned to Mauritius in October 2022. I then discovered that the club had been bought. I still booked a dive, and it was a very bad surprise. I can even say that it was the worst dive of my life, both in terms of pleasure and safety. There were 3 other divers, a couple and a gentleman taking PADI tests. We went down with only one instructor. The boat had left us quite far from the wreck (25-30m) and we therefore snorkeled for about 15 minutes. Then the instructor entered the wreckage with his student, asking us to wait for him. What was supposed to last 5 minutes ended up taking about 20. I had approached the couple and we were really starting to worry, especially since the computers were indicating an imminent ascent to the landing. I specify that there was not much to see on this wreck, very little life. When they finally got out (they had had a wire problem and lost a lamp in the wreckage), they had to climb back up and make 2 safety stops. A dive without interest, with very questionable safety conditions: the German couple and I were furious. The instructor apologized, but the club still charged me for my dive. It was certainly my last with them, and I miss the former owners, Caroline and Brice, who led this club masterfully.

Club de plongée à fuir! Jusqu’à mon dernier séjour avant confinement à Maurice, je plongeais toujours avec Prodive. J’avais d’ailleurs passé avec eux mon PADI advanced, et étais très contente de leur accueil et de leur professionnalisme. C’est donc tout naturellement chez eux que je suis retournée lors de mon retour à Maurice en octobre 2022. J’ai découvert alors que le club avait été racheté. J’ai tout de même réservé une plongée, et cela a été une très mauvaise surprise. Je peux même dire que ça a été la pire plongée de ma vie, autant au niveau du plaisir que de la sécurité. Il y avait 3 autres plongeurs, un couple et un monsieur qui passaient des tests PADI. Nous sommes descendus avec un seul moniteur. Le bateau nous avait laissés assez loin de l’épave (à 25-30m) et nous avons donc palmé environ 15 minutes. Puis le moniteur est entré dans l’épave avec son élève, nous demandant de l’attendre. Ce qui devait durer 5 minutes en a finalement duré une vingtaine. Je m’étais rapprochée du couple et nous commencions vraiment à nous inquiéter, d’autant que les ordinateurs nous indiquaient une remontée imminente au palier. Je précise qu’il n’y avait pas grand-chose à voir sur cette épave, très peu de vie. Lorsqu’ils sont enfin sortis (ils avaient eu un problème de fil et perdu une lampe dans l’épave), il a fallu remonter et faire 2 paliers de sécurité. Une plongée sans intérêt, aux conditions de sécurité très discutables: le couple d’Allemands et moi étions furieux. Le moniteur s’est excusé, mais le club m’a quand même fait payer ma plongée. C’était très certainement ma dernière avec eux, et je regrette bien les anciens propriétaires, Caroline et Brice, qui menaient ce club de main de maître. – via google
