Best dive shop in California, and it is not even close. 5 star dive shop for a reason. Higheat quality instructors! Fair and reasonable pricing on all scubapro equipment. Pay cash, get a discount. 15′ deep Swimming pool on the side. Kevin, Eyal, and everyone else are super knowledgeable and really care. They want you safe and in control. We read a lot of dive center reviews before following a recommendation to try Scuba Shack for our Advanced Open Water certification. We are EXTREMELY happy to have dived with them! Stefan, the owner, is great. Excellent communication before our trip to Koh Tao and he has a great team. Our AOW was over the course of three days (we chose the buoyancy course instead of a night dive). Our instructor, Gasper “G,” gave us a lot of great tips and help throughout our five dives. Sail Rock was one of the highlights of our travels. If in Koh Tao, call Scuba Shack for courses or just for fun dives! We can’t wait to return and dive with them again. – via

I stopped by on Saturday 8/11 and the sign said the same thing. Back at 11AM. It was 3PM when I came by. Hoping the next time I have better results. Maybe I will call first. I will change my rating if and when I actually talk to someone from shop.

Been to the dive shop several times since then. Have not had that same experience where the shop was closed when it should be open. Always believe people deserve a 2nd chance. Nice shop, friendly knowledgeable staff. It is local, so I like to support my LDS. – via
