Update October 2023
I had a difficult time when I attempted to complete my open Water Dives in the Dominican Republic. I ended up sick and the Dive shop would not refund my fees. Jeff and team at Kanata Dive shop were amazing. They set me up for success and even allowed me to complete the pool sessions again because I lost my confidence. I recently took a dive trip to the Florida Keys with my partner who has been diving for years. He was very impressed with my training. He said I didn’t look like a newbie at all. The instructor here make sure you really understand your buoyancy and ensure when you are out on the reefs you understand the importance of protecting them. Thank you so much for preparing me sooo well for my first dive vacation!!!

They are knowledgeable and will not try to sell you something you do not need.

Myself and my young son came in both looking for a mask and snorkel. The folks at this store took all the time needed to make sure we both got a snorkel and mask that fits us well and was comfortably in our budget. It’s been three days since we got our stuff and each day we’ve spent tons of time using what we got and it’s proven itself to be exactly what we need and want – a perfect fit for us. Based on the help we got and that it’s all turned out well after using it, we’ll definitely be making this the place we return whenever we need new equipment. – via

Needed some gear to prepare for trip to Mexico. They serviced my regs in record and they swapped out a broken compass with a working one they had in their tool box … for free ‘cause they could. Without that upfront pay-it-forward type of generosity, I may not have bought that wetsuit. Thank you Bill! No commission for you on compass sales but you should get double from the fins and wetsuit I bought instead! – via
