We made the mistake of starting off with lessons from a cheap guy on discount coupon site that starts with a G. All in all we only were saving about $100, but half way through the lessons realized we were not learning anything, this guy was rushing us through. So we came to Water World where we had purchased our gear and asked about lessons. We were convinced and couldn’t be happier. Chris the owner was very helpful and walked us through everything about getting started and answered all our beginner questions about gear and training.
Jason S. was our instructor. We spend 2 days in class and the pool with him and 2 days diving at the River with him. What an amazing experience. My girlfriend was a little nervous and had some hesitations but Jason took all the time she needed to make sure she learned everything and turned her into a confident open water diver. We quickly became friends with everyone at the shop and will look forward to doing dive trips with them. Do not try to save a few bucks, learn from my mistake and trust in these guys to get the proper training and gear. – via

Buyer beware. While you won’t see the return policy until AFTER you place an order, you have 2 days to make a return and that’s only for some items. Others are no returns. THEN, returns are only given a store credit! So when we ordered gloves, and saw this, I tried to cancel the order within hours, but this guy said store credit only. What dive store operates that way? This Chris guy, then wants to be nearly hostile when I asked him why he wouldn’t just void the transaction and return my money. He just maintained they don’t do that.
Mind you, no product was shipped or anything. So there shouldn’t even be a charge on my card. I don’t know if he’s hurting that bad, financially, but perhaps a more customer friendly cancel/return policy would help. My local stores both offer full refund within 30 days. – via
