Completed Padi Open water certification here while on vacation and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I received a one-on-one training with Iris and she was absolutely amazing! Very thorough in following Padi guidelines ensuring every step was covered in its entirety, and still very patient with me on some of the skills I found a bit challenging at first (full mask purge for example!). She went above and beyond to make the experience as positive and enjoyable as possible. I truly can’t speak highly enough about Iris and the entire experience. I went into this course a bit apprehensive about my under water abilities, but she reassured me every step of the way and her adherence to the guidelines made me feel confident in my skills at the conclusion of the course. Do not hesitate to book your certification through The Diveshop and especially with Iris! Thank you again, Iris! You are a dive master rockstar! – via google

Picked up on time at the cruise ship terminal. Short ride to the Dive Shop tucked into a quaint beach with amenities. Young dive professionals at the shop made the experience safe, relaxed and very enjoyable. Cost was very reasonable. I explained that I was an infrequent diver and my Diving Guide, Stephan, provided an excellent refresher with suggestions and instructions along the way. The only thing that I would do differently is to take a boat dive instead of a shore dive. I’m 72 years old and my time carrying equipment any distance has passed. That being said, when I discussed this with Stefan, he took over the task of transporting the tank/bc/regulator back and forth.
Definitely a great time and a 5* dive shop. – via google

My 11 year old daughter did her certification course with The Dive Shop and had a tremendous experience! The instructor (Thor) was friendly and engaging, helping make the course accessible and fun even when my daughter felt a bit nervous. He and the other instructors are also deeply knowledgeable about diving and ways to teach it effectively and safely. She is now a certified diver and we just did our first dive together! I would enthusiastically recommend The Dive Shop to anyone looking to get certified, do a refresher, or go on a guided dive in Curacao. – via google

Wat een prachtige eerste duikervaring heb ik op curacao gehad. Middels de open water dive cursus heb ik binnen 3 dagen mijn certificaat gehaald en ben ik helemaal om. Duiken is geweldig en dit komt met name door de geweldige begeleiding van de duikshop. Instructeur Niek was geweldig, vriendelijk, sociaal, kortom precies zoals je het hebben wil. Ik raad iedereen aan die interesse heeft in duiken om het te gaan doen en als je in curacao wilt duiken, kies de diveshop. De locatie, behulpzaamheid, transparantie en de gehele ervaring ansich is top. – via google

This was our second trip to Curaçao, and each time the trip centered around The Dive Shop. Everyone in my family has done diving certification through The Dive Shop. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! Collectively, we have done OW, AOW, and rescue diver and EMR classes. Everyone on staff is very professional and incredibly friendly and make learning fun. You really feel like they embrace you as part of their dive family and set the bar for the “dive vibe”! I’m already planning to return for my next cert. we had Pascal and Thor as instructors this time, both fantastic. Also did a lot of guided dives. All dive masters and instructors were wonderful. Best dive shop on the island!! – via google
