We had an absolutely fantastic day with Paihia dive, Craig and the entire crew. I booked a wreck and reef dive, my mom went snorkelling.
From start to finish it was very well organised, we had great and well maintained equipment (they also have corrected goggles, so ask them ahead if you wear glasses) , the crew was fantastic and we always felt save.
Even though there was some wind and rain around lunch time and my mom even had to feed the fish once, she still enjoyed it a lot and we both had a great time and got to see many fish, sea urchins and crayfish. The crew really looked out for everyone.
When we got back to the shop, we also wanted to buy corrected goggles for my mom and were well instructed, she even got a great offer to buy a used pair and now uses them whenever she has the opportunity to snorkel.
I also loved the beautiful underwater photographs Craig took of us and the wreck, anemones and fish around and they were free if charge to download for us too.

A family run business that is committed to sharing the underwater world with visiting divers. Prompt communication prior to arrival and well organised on the day. Hire gear was in good condition, some new and the whole team was friendly and welcoming. Excellent safety and dive site briefings ensured that everyone was clear about procedures and could enjoy the dives safely. We dived the HMNZS Canterbury and another dive in Deep Water Cove and had a great time. Thanks. – via

Excellent (march2024)
Finished a great dive trip, with a Rainbow Warrior dive and reef.
Craigs knowledge of the wreck, it’s history and the sea life etc, are outstanding.
A great day out in their rhib.
Nice to have Craig at the helm.
Wreck is a mass of life with a history to match.

This team was amazing, we had great diving adventures. They are experienced and therefore take all the needed safety precautions (and more !). They also are pationate and share their diving knowledge without restriction and are eager to make you see as many marine life as possible. The lended equipment was of high quality and reliable. Thank you Craig and Hamisch for taking so good care of us. We had one of our best diving experience with you.

We have dived with Craig and team a number of times and they work hard to cater for everyone on the boat. They structure the diving during the day to suit all levels of experience and nobody goes home disappointed. The diving is hard to beat with easy access to the HMNZS Canterbury, Rainbow Warrior and local protected reefs. The boat rides are short and the crew entertaining. – via

Very professional team, friendly and so helpful. We had Four dives in total and Two fantastic dives on the rainbow warrior and the Canterbury Wrecks! Craig has Great knowledge of the dive sites and shared the information in a fun way. Would also like to mention Sophia who was so good, patience and helpful with my partner who was doing a discovery to scuba diving, she had a great experience and is so pleased that Sophia was able to care for her.

Lovely people, awesome dives
Had a great time on a day out on the boat! We did 2 dives. And the diving itself is top class. One of the coolest wrecks if been at.
But what topped the whole experience is the staff. Such nice people to hang out with. Very knowledgeable of the local area, and we even got some history of the area and a few fun facts just felt like you are all hanging out with a bunch of friends!

Amazing experience!
everything was great! the communication with the owner Craig was amazing, he was very helpful with organizing (we were coming to NZ with a cruise ship so had a very tight schedule). The diving instructors were very professional, nice, and funny. The equipment was in a very good condition and the dives were spectacular, water was 21-22C, we have seen huge Spiny lobsters, Moray eels, an eagle ray and loads of very friendly fish.
our favorite part was the currents in “the toilet” at Putahataha island.
