We just finished doing our Open water with Earl and Elvin, and I couldn’t recommend more coming and doing your courses with these gentlemen. They are very kind people and are super wicked at helping new people get under the water. I had a hard time with equalizing my ears the first day and Earl was super patient and we were able to get me where I needed to be. Also got a little panicked at one time but again Earl was able to help control my breathing snd got everything settled. First Class for sure! Thank you guys! Much love from Canada and Germany! Simon and his team have earned every positive review. Our experience was outstanding with no flaws. Completing our OW qualification with Sidive was fantastic, and we instantly felt at home with the team, contributing to our success underwater. Alfred and Elvin were exceptional tutors, always smiling and laughing. Simon’s accessibility through WhatsApp and responsiveness were highly appreciated. We would have done the entire course here if not completed elsewhere before. Highly recommend! – via

had a great experience with earl, our instructor. he was so patient with us when we were struggling with the mask test. we were fortunate to have gotten a chance to see turtles on both days of our course.

simon was also easy to communicate with and gave us alot of insights on whether our hotel would be a good location to the dive shop and other tips in other parts of cebu – via

Nice dive shop. Good divemasters

All their equipment served me well. Masks and defog were good. BCDs and fins all good. Wetsuits seemed pretty new, with enough to customize thickness.

I did 5 shore dives and 3 boat dives with them. The shore dives are right outside the shop at Kontiki House Reef. It’s a pretty good place actually, lots of nudibranches, a sardine ball, a turtle, snakes, morays, a mantis shrimp, even some cuttlefish once too.

Divemasters for the shore dives were able to point out lots of small critters and nudibranches.

They do not have their own boat. Boat dives will probably share a boat with other dive shops in the area. Experience varies on the weather and what boat you get. – via

Review:
I recently had the pleasure of arranging a PADI open water refresher course for my two kids, aged 12 and 14, with SiDive, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the initial communication stages back in the UK, right through to the actual diving, everything was handled with utmost professionalism and efficiency.

Our dive instructors, Alfred and a colleague, expertly managed the challenging weather conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dive. Their pre-briefing was particularly commendable, as it not only prepared the kids for the dive but also alleviated any anxieties we, as parents, had.

The dive itself was a spectacular experience for the kids. They encountered an array of marine life including turtles and lion fish, which was both educational and thrilling. Moreover, the instructors did an excellent job in brushing up the kids’ scuba skills, which was the main goal of the session.

What impressed me the most was the value for money. The service provided by SiDive was very reasonable considering the high quality of the experience.

A big thank you to everyone at SiDive for making this a memorable and enriching experience for our family. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable diving experience. – via

Found this diving school by reading the google reviews so now it’s my turn to share my 5 stars experience.l did the PADI open water diving course and everything was clear, structure and transparent. The owner Simon is very communicative and easily reachable. My dives with Alfred and Ronil were wonderful as they were patient and caring. Highly recommend it! – via

SiDive were brilliant! We were beginners and started with the discover scuba diving course. We loved it so much we started the open water diving course the same day for the following 2 days. Earl was our instructor and he was great the whole way through! All of the guys in the shop were brilliant and spoke very good English. Simon was very easy to get hold of over WhatsApp who helped us get started on the online course and booking in on the courses. Overall a very pleasant experience, 0 complaints. 10/10 – via

Great place to learn where to scuba dive. Simon, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and quick responses.

Nice and friendlig staff, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the company of Alfred and Ronil, they made sure I had a good rescue diver course and some good dives

Location is not super, as you have to go down super muddy road, but once there, it’s easy access to the water, only 40 meter walk.

I did a rescue diver course there, and in connection with that, I did a boattrip with 3 dives for 4500 Pesos. It was a nice trip, and one of the instructors wife made the food for the trip – adobo with chicken… So nice.

They gave me a nice new BCD for my courses, but thee other guys got some older gear, I heard one had a bcd that kept inflating, a bottle valve didn’t work correctly, and so on.
Its been hard times for turist industry in Philippines since covid, so maybe they just need to get up to speed again.

Any way, these small querks would make me rate this a 3 if it was anuæy other place in the world, but its really only small things, and taking into consideration that this is Philippines, and it is quite different, then I will up it to a 4. – via

Fantastic intro dive experience with Sidive! Alfred was very thorough in his explanations and payed close attention to our well being during the dive. He noticed I was hesitant and held my hand through the entire 12m dive. Equipment was great as well. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try diving! – via
