My boyfriend and I came in wanting to dove the corridor specifically. Manta told us they usually only do a combo trip, one dive corridor and one dive in the marina, but they were very kind and accommodated our request! Julio the Black Shark was a great dive guide. We saw rays and dove with sea lions and tornados of fish. It was a windy day, and they made sure we were safe and warm on the boat. Provided sandwich’s and lots of cookies and water. Wonderful experience! Did PADI scuba training in pool and 4 ocean dives. Mercedes was our instructor and she was AMAZING! Highly recommend requesting Mercedes. She was so patient and positive and helpful—and is SUPER cool and funny! Gracias Mercedes! – via

I took the PADI Referral Course for OWD 4 Dives with Manta Feb 13/14, 2024 and successfully completed the Open Water Diver certification. I was very pleased with Manta Scuba in general and especially Silvia D. who was my instructor. She was very knowledge, experienced and patient, and provided wonderful general guidance. I can’t say enough good things about Manta! Whether you are an experienced diver or just looking to learn, this is the place to go! I did mine dives over three days with four different guides and have zero complaints! All the guides, Polo, Brandon, Angela and Bati, and all other staff including Becky at the desk were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! I promise you have the best possible time diving in Cabo if you go with Manta! Angela’s love for all the local sea lions is infectious, if you are on the same boat as her and don’t get excited for the sea lions, there is something wrong with you haha. Everything was relaxed and unrushed but still very professional. Two of the days we were lucky enough to see humpback whales and the captain made sure to get us close and gave us lots of time to enjoy. I will most definitely be diving with Manta every time I come to Cabo! Thank you all for everything and see you next time! – via

We did the refresher and 2 tank dive. We had a great experience. Julio “The Black Shark” was a great teacher and made us feel very comfortable. We saw lots of interesting marine life, including a Whitetip Reef Shark. We would highly recommend this dive shop! – via

I enjoyed my diving with Manta Divers in Cabo San Lucas. Day one I did a 3 tank dive with Polo and we had the best trip. He was very good at showing us the best stops. We were blessed to have seen whales and many marine life on this adventure. Day 2 I was with Cesar for a 2 tank dive. We were at the Marine Park by the rock formations you see known for Cabo architecture and got to see a sea lion! Just beautiful. They were organized and in a fantastic location. – via

We thoroughly enjoyed our time learning to dive with Manta our Divemaster Jesus. With his years of experience he provided a comfortable and safe atmosphere for learning and helped us become certified divers. What a cool experience! I strongly recommend Manta Scuba for anyone looking to dive in Cabo San Lucas. Extremely professional, experienced, and knowledgeable staff, great gear, and great diving locations!
If I were staying in Cabo for longer I’d dive with them every day.
I felt totally safe with these guys. They had one dive master for every 2-3 divers. Some of the divers had advanced open water certifications and some hadn’t been diving in 10+ years (aside from a refresher course the day before). Manta was able to accommodate and meet everyone where they were in their experience and comfort level. We dove for about 40 minutes in each location, took a safety stop and had plenty of time at the surface. My dive buddy / dive master was Polo and he was great and super knowledgeable.
The diving was awesome – we could hear humpback whales in the distance, saw all types of fish and coral, saw an octopus and a sea horse.
I will totally dive with Manta when I return to Cabo.

The team is nice but the pool is ice cold freezing – it induced a dangerous ear infection and the whole group struggled despite doubling up on skins – all of us shaking with cold. I don’t recommend training there. Edit – saw your comment. Folks, please just find a way to heat your pool. 2 hours in there was not ok. Not rocket science. Don’t have your customers lose their hearing because it’s so cold. Wishing you all the best. – via

Booked whale watching through this company while staying at Riu Baja Palace. Nina was amazing and very knowledgeable about whales, migration, location and more! The captain was awesome spotting many whales, a marlin dolphins and poncho the sea lion during the tour. Worth the money! Also was informed that some of the cheaper tours are not licensed and sometimes accidentally harm animals due to lack of knowledge and safe distance. – via
