Captain Miller accommodated us at the last minute when our original dive master canceled our week’s diving plans due to illness. Saved us during our short stay on Eleuthera. Captain Miller is an excellent dive master who emphasizes safety at every turn. We enjoyed a wall and then a shallower reef dive with his expert guidance. Definitely would book again. – via

Daryl was very accommodating when our scheduled dive with another shop was canceled last minute. He was able to fit us in the very next morning. On the dive he was very attentive and took his time to point out photo opportunities and overlooked creatures. – via

I cannot recommend Daryl enough! I am an experienced PADI instructor and I hire a local guide because it’s smart and makes me feel safe in new places. I was blown away by how much effort and professionalism Daryl put forth. We were a group of 2, but his attention to detail and his love for his ocean environment were first class. He took care of everything and set up our gear, broke it down. His guiding was excellent. He was very attentive to us in the water and pointed out lots of critters. He is a one-man show, but his boat is excellent. He takes people to fish, scuba dive, & boat trips. While he was not the first name that came up, he was certainly THE BEST. Ocean Fox & Chad, whom I contacted first, told me he was having boat troubles and could only run a trip of at least 4. I’ve never heard of a boat problem that solved itself with more people on board- sounds like he didn’t care too much about business, but Daryl mentioned that he enjoyed the small, personal trips and prefers them. I also left Daryl 4 of my scuba tanks as it is hard to get supplies here…. How to get there: His boat is in Davis Harbor. We were extorted by a taxi man named Bertram Rolle, who told us he didn’t have any cars for rent, but would taxi us there, upon arriving at Davis Harbor (20 minute drive from Rock Sound) he told us we could rent the car for the day for $75 or the ride for $60. None of this was mentioned ahead of time. $60 20 minute drive! “It’s too late to rent because I already gave you a ride.” Don’t bother with those crooks. Either rent a car AT THE AIRPORT or pay Daryl a little extra for the ride, which we had to do for the way back. Miller’s Dive Shop in Southern Eleuthera is the absolute best!! – via

This is one of the best remote dive shops in the world. Everything on Eleuthera is expensive because of its location, but you’ll be investing in both fun and safety. The diving here is extraordinary, and the water is as clear as some Mexican Cenotes. Captain Daryl is funny, kind, patient, and most of all, meticulous.

Despite being on an island in the sea air, the massive Bauer air compressor looks like it was purchased yesterday. That’s a sign of a very well-run, organized, and safe dive shop.

If you have a family or a group, or if you’re a lone diver looking for a reliable partner in crime, don’t take a chance elsewhere. Your dive buddy and safety officer is right here with Captain Miller!

– I’m cave, wreck, trimix, GUE certified and a whole bunch of other whatnot. I also lazy afternoon dive with family and friends on 10 foot reef any chance I get. Lots of chances to see the world and to know that not all dive shops are anywhere near this good. – via

Just came back from Eleuthera!! We had Daryl bring us on a shark dive….it was awesome!! Daryl is the epitome of a true professional above the water and underwater!!! No nonsense!! I felt very confident diving with the sharks with Daryl by my side. I will definitely be back next year and will definitely use his services again!! Thank you Daryl!!
