We greatly enjoyed our 3 tank dive to Phi Phi islands & Shark Point with Charles of Kiwi Divers. Communication prior to the dive was excellent and very helpful, working quite flexibly with us, organised going with another boat to fit with our schedule and desired dive sites. Where the boats typically have a few dozen divers, my wife and I essentially had a private instructor in Charles which was great. Safety was top priority and Charles made sure everything worked correctly and ran us through our equipment. His knowledge and experience, not only in Phuket dive sites but elsewhere, led us on some amazing dives, often going to alternate points of interest to avoid crowds and still seeing amazing sights. We highly recommend going with Kiwi Divers Phuket, we hope to be back again. – via

My first time diving and I completed the Open Water SSI certification. Charles lead me through getting familiar with the equipment and helped me get comfortable with breathing underwater in the pool. The next two days we dove at Racha and Phi Phi. Both beautiful sites. I felt well taken care of on the boat; Charles making sure we were ready for the dives. Highly recommend. – via

Got scuba certified the last few days with Charles and it was amazing!! I felt very safe the whole time and didn’t feel rushed on anything, felt I could take my time doing certain skills underwater. The dive boat we went on was awesome, got treated with the Phi Phi islands. Boat also provided excellent food. 12/10 experience, highly recommend KiwiDivers to anyone interested in diving or more advanced divers!! – via

I dived with Kiwidivers to get a PADI open diver course. Even though it was a high season in new years holiday, the shop owner was very flexible to arrange training and diving schedule. He was really good at teaching beginner like me. That was a great dive experience thanks to them. – via

Had a great time with Kiwi Divers!!
Summary of my trip with the wife:
1) Charles (boss) know his way around the community, and he got us his favorite big boat, really nice big boat with all the facilities for diving
2) definitely an experience dive master with knowledge of the area, he knows where all the fishes, and we saw the leopard shark ( big one) at shark point dive site
3) gears were good in good condition, pick up was also arrange for us
All in all, a very lovely trip, had a great time with the wife.
Note to self, bring more cash, many places does not accept card or eWallet
Also, the diving community definitely needs support after the Covid era, please do come and support

I’d highly recommend Kiwidivers if you’re scubadiving around Thailand. Charles was my instructor and was very informative and helpful on getting me through the advanced open water course. He gave me plenty if tips on improving my underwater photography skills too. The kit is all decent for the great conditions in that part of the world. The boats taking us to and from each location catered to our needs with amazing food and plenty of portions, the staff were really friendly and helpful with the kit. The diving itself is phenomenal as we saw up to 20 m visibility in some top locations to spot various sea life from clown fish to sting rays. The water being around 20 degrees Celsius made for comfortable swimming. – via

Charles is a very experienced dive instructor to make a day trip with. He makes sure everything runs smooth the entire day. On top, he’s always open for an interesting chat to learn more about diving and sea life.

Sally and I did a 3 day dive with Charles (9 dives all together) on Jan 2023.
We dove 1:2 with Charles for two full days. On the third day anther diver joined us, but it still felt quite personal.
Charles is very knowledgable (over 8000 dives!). He guided us well above and underwater, and offered invaluable technical advice on equalization, buoyancy, leg work and kicking, etc. On our first day he suggested that I use larger air-tanks, and provided me with 15 lbs tanks for days 2 & 3, which extend our dives to 50min+.
The boat we used (SiroloDive) was well equipped, had great staff, and served great meals We were told by other divers that it is considered the best boat around.
Charles is also a wonderful underwater photographers. The photos he sent us after the dive are wonderful momentos from our 3 fun underwater days in Phuket. – via

It was really great. I did my AOWD course with Charles. I really enjoyed everything. Dive sites were great, brilliant boat and a very, very well experienced instructor and a great person.
If i come back to Phuket one day, i will devinitely book my place at Kiwidiver again. Thanks again Charles. All the best!!!

Myself and my partner dived for 9 days with Charles and Kiwidivers in the incredible Andaman sea. Charles was a fantastic instructor and guide; he is competent and friendly, we always felt safe and he knew each dive site really well, sometimes taking us to areas where no other divers seemed to be visiting. We saw amazing wildlife while we were diving, and Charles also gave us time at each site to collect footage we wanted for a project. Both of us are certified divers but still felt like we improved massively during the course of the trip. We also completed the drift diver specialty with Kiwidivers, which was completed and signed off quickly.
The dive sites themselves are special, and Charles ensured you get a variety if you go to the same island multiple times. Kiwidivers were extremely helpful with other travel tips, transport to the boat, and support when our gear broke/not appropriate for what we wanted to do.
Could not recommend Kiwidivers enough, we had an amazing trip and will be coming back. – via

My brother and I arrived in Phuket and decided on short notice to take an Open Water Course. All dive shops turned us down for short notice, however, Charles at Kiwi Diver made it happen! As we learned to dive, Charles was meticulous with the training, yet he made diving fun and not too technical! As I honed my skills, I became more confident and explored divergent dive sites. If you’re in Phuket and thinking about taking a dive, Kiwi Diver is your place. The prices might be a little higher than other dive shops, but the divemaster here has over 9,000 dives under his belt, which translates to a fantastic learning experience. – via
