I had so much fun! I learned a lot. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient! I love that they correct you and show you what you are doing wrong that way you can correct your mistakes.
Chris helped me a lot getting all my classes set up.
John was a great teacher going in the water and helping me out. Thanks! i can’t wait to come back for my advanced certificate next!
Going out to mammoth lake was a fun experience! We got to learn how to dive in all weather conditions. It was randomly raining, hailing, thundering and then shine! Of course we waited for the rain to clear before diving though! – via

Do not recommend. Came for MUSA tour, boat was overbooked so after the lesson in the pool we couldn’t get on the boat as it was full and to reschedule and come back the next day. Very disappointing as we dedicated an entire day to dive and couldn’t do any other activities given that the boat left us at the dock at around 2pm and other activities have to be pre booked in advance. – via

No pressure to buy Dive shop. Kris was patient and answered all of our questions while we decided to “take the plunge” investing in gear. They set us up with a tank and all the pool time we wanted to get cozy in our gear. Wrapping up our first dive trip with the new stuff and are totally happy with our investment in Sugarland Dive Shop. Get ready Kris….. we want Nitrox! ~Cozumel, Mexico – via

My cousin and I did our open water training, advanced open water and nitrox and we had such a great and memorable experience every single time. Instructors are super knowledgeable and make things fun, though safety is always their priority. Chris, who manages the dive center is a pleasure to talk to and, because she is a diver herself (so is her family), she is a wealth of knowledge and awesome recommendations. Highly recommend you to explore the beauty of diving and using Sugar Land Dive as your dive shop. – via

My cousin and I did our open water training, advanced open water and nitrox and we had such a great and memorable experience every single time. Instructors are super knowledgeable and make things fun, though safety is always their priority. I’ve come to this shop multiple times to buy scuba gear and get my trainings done (Advanced OW and Rescue diving) over the last year or so, and every time I’ve called or visited the shop, the owner Chris, her sons, and the instructors have all been kind, patient, and professional with their advice and knowledge. Chris especially is excellent in her customer service and has provided good recommendations on equipment to buy; she and I have participated in several long conversations where I never felt rushed or brushed off while discussing all things scuba, and for that I’m grateful.

If you can’t tell from my review above, 10/10 go buy your stuff and training from this shop! Even though I don’t live locally, I will still call/order online from here because I know that my money is going to a good dive shop, and they, out of all the places I’ve been over the years, deserve every cent. – via
