The best dive shop on St Croix. They made it possible for me to get open water certified and were able to squeeze me in for my trip. Phil was an amazing teacher and Dive Master. Getting certified to open water dive has been a life changing experience and I can’t wait to come back and dive with St. Croix Ultimate Bluewater Adventure.

A few animals I saw, I couldn’t possibly list them all.

– Turtles
– Eagle Rays
– Southern Rays
– Sea Cucumber
– Flounder
– Enormous Puffer Fish

The second day we did the boat dives to finish my certification, Lance was an excellent Cap’N. I was able to have my wife come on the boat as a bubble watcher and snorkel while I was diving. Fantastic experience, this shop cares about people, safety and having an incredible time on and in the water. – via google

10/10 I highly recommend this dive shop and everyone who works there! I did 7 dives with them: 5 for Advanced Open Water certification and 2 fun dives. Matt B. was my instructor and he was excellent in every way – patient, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. All the staff at the dive shop were very helpful. Matt, the captain, was fantastic both days I went out for boat dives. Joe was the divemaster for my 2 fun dives and he was wonderful as well. Every dive was beautiful, every experience was great, and I cannot wait to return! (I almost never leave Google reviews, so you know they went above and beyond.) – via google

These guys are so friendly and professional! Loved divinng with them and would definitely come again. Our dive masters were Lance and Matt and the captain was Matt. They explained everything really well and were very organized and efficient with gear and equipment set up. We left the dock at 10am and were back by 1pm after two 40 min dives. We saw sea turtles, moray eels, lion fish, and lots and lots of fish in both dive sights. We are doing another dive with them from christiansted and if this is the bar, we are super excited. Will definitely try to come and dive with them again. – via google

I recently completed the PADI Rescue Diver training and also two separate 2 tank boat dives from Frederiksted. The crew Instructors and Dive Masters were all top notch and amazing to train and dive with. Lance, Joe, Julian, Matt, & Cory were all assisted throughout my 3 days of Rescue Diver training and all of them taught me quite a lot during my training and provided amazing feedback on things I could improve on. On the 2 boat trips I’m lucky to have dove with Julian and Phil twice and had a great time both dives. Also shoutout to Captain John for his funny stories and keeping us safe on the boat! – via google

10 out of 10 my best diving experience so far. ?? highly recommend diving with Phil. He is the most detailed, organized, and well planned dive master I have ever had. He highlighted my AOW course with so much fun as well as learning skills. I feel extremely safe diving with Phil. The boat dive with Captain Liz and Phil was wonderful. Thank you for bringing such an amazing experience to my trip, Phil!

Great experience! While on vacation we decided to try SCUBA diving as a family. My wife and boys (19&21) were new to diving. I was certified but long out of practice (the Matrix was in the theater when I dove last). The team at the shop shared our options. Intro to diving for the family and a refresher for me. Lance reviewed skills and got the cobwebs cleared for me. While Joe taught my family the basics. Once completed we were off for a guided tour of the pier. Truly amazing turtles, rays, coral and countless tropical fish. At the end of the day the the family was so enthralled we signed up for a boat dive later in the week. Definitely a memory for a lifetime- thanks Lance, Joe and the crew at the shop. – via google

I struggle leaving bad reviews but our experience was pretty sour on 1/2/23 – I even waited a week to see if my negative feelings would fade. I would never recommend a boat dive with this team due to our experience. In previous years we’ve used different outfits who take the customers desires into account unlike this operator.

We led up to a boat dive with a week of shore dives and were excited to get on a boat to go to dive sites we hadn’t been to on the west side of the island. After our first dive, which was good, we motored to within spitting distance of the pier from which we departed. My group questioned whether we were docking and found out we were diving the pier. We expressed to the captain that we had dove the pier on several occasions before (3x day dives, 2x night dives, for the record). He said we hadn’t been to the very end, and when we pressed further they we had indeed been to the end he hastily replied “this is where we’re diving”. He also insinuated the dive site, in part, was justified because you didn’t have to swim out to that spot, so it’s easy! No discussion, no conversation about alternative dive sites (I’ll note my group represented 5 of the 7 paying divers).

There were other contributing factors to my displeasure but my main grievance is the manner in which a clear desire to go to an alternate site was dealt with. – via google

Just got back from a 2 tank dive on the North side: Rust Op Twist & Turquoise Bay. Captain John was funny, had great stories, but was a consummate professional when it came to safety and information about the dive sites! Divemaster Curtis was super and let me take the time to explore the small life I like. (No dive buddy with me this dive so I got the DM!) I also have a couple disabilities and they were super about doing the heavy lifting for me! I had planned for only this 1 day of diving, but they were so good I signed up again for Friday! Ice water and fresh fruit all ready after each tank. Thanks, SCUBA!! – via google

Incredible SCUBA experience St. Croix off the pier in Frederiksted! The weather was raining and gloomy but once underwater a whole different experience was happening! We were able to see 2 kinds of sea turtles, octopus, sea horses, star fish, sting rays, eels, lobster, flounder and soo many other kinds of fish!! We met Patty while out eating dinner one night, and our SCUBA guide Joe was awesome and so patient!!! Thank you! – via google
