Everyone was very helpful. I was given the information and offered supplies, but I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything. As for the open water dive course, it was great. I wish I remembered the instructor’s name, but he was helpful and patient with my class. Highly recommended – via

I really like this place, the owner (Derek) is great, Maxwell at the front desk was very nice. My instructor Richard is amazing, he is patience and not only has the knowledge, but helped me to be comfortable with water. He has this calm positive and kind attitude that I appreciate so much.

Place is a joke. I bought my wife what I thougth would be a scuba certification class to learn that it actually doesn’t provide you with a certification. Paid sight unseen….I highly don’t recommend. As you walk up to the building that says “pool inside” you may wonder, how is there a pool in there??? That’s because there is not. A hot tub would be a gracious definition. In addition, I had a brief conversation with the owner and I found him to be unprofessional in how he handles business. After requesting a refund, Derrick hung up on me like a child. This after his business kept me on a “future credit” while I had a legitimate medical issue, without telling me that holding this future credit past the return period will leave me without any financial recourse. Had I known this, I would have just requested the refund. I guess I got to learn to scuba dive in Derrick’s hottub downstairs!!! stoked….. I highly suggest getting your certification somewhere else, maybe a place that actually certifies you at the conclusion. – via

Friendly and professional! I completed the PADI OWD certification with Underwater Phantaseas earlier this year, and I was impressed by the time and consideration I received by each member of staff that I came into contact with. Pool training went off without a hitch, and the small class size was perfect. Dave, Mark, and Luke were excellent instructors for the open water dives and took the time necessary to make sure the students completed the skills successfully. 10/10, would recommend! – via

I recently completed my Open Waters PADI certification at this diving school, and I’m thoroughly pleased with the experience. Alfie, the instructor was very knowledgeable, patient, and safety-conscious. Everything was taken care for us and the whole process was very smooth. We were taken to awesome diving sites, including a ship wreck. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking to start their diving journey. – via

I got my extended scuba training done here. Very kind, efficient, and accommodating to all types of swimmers! I came for a full course refresher and not only learned new things but got to tune up old skills from a previous certification I had. Tim was the best!!!!! He is part dive master part fish!!

Went here for my scuba certification. The staff was helpful and accepting of the fact that my first day was not the best. They helped me overcome my fear of scuba. The discounts were fantastic on the gear as they helped me build my set within reason and budget. For never having any experience with scuba til now I can’t recommend them enough. They have a Groupon as well which does help with the cost of the class as well. I can’t wait til I’m fully certified in March with them as they have some amazing trips coming up this year! Well worth the 35 min commute for me to be helped and treated well. – via

We did our pool classes and online instruction part with UWP. We had a great experience with our instructor, Richard. He explained everything, was patient with us and made it fun even when we struggled with some aspects. Great place to learn for nervous beginners like we were! – via

Recently got scuba certification from Underwater Phantaseas.
They treat their customers like family. Great shop, great instructors (Larry in pool dives, Bob & Kevin for Open Water dives at Aurora Reservoir).
Can’t speak positively enough about them, if you’re looking for a place to get certified and involved in the diving community, this is a great place to start. – via

Husband and I went out to Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, this past weekend with Underwater Phantaseas for training/certifications. Our instructors, Tim and Kevin, were really awesome and we had such a wonderful weekend of diving in a very unique place with a great group of people.
