Simply stop looking. Dive Grenada is it. Don’t bother with anyone else. Neal, the owner operator is at once the most kind, humble, and patient person to ever work in hospitality, and also a deeply talented and extremely highly qualified technical diver who has done some insane jump out of airplanes into the water crazy stuff in his life, and yet carries none of the ego or attitude that people with that level of experience can sometimes bring.
His teaching style is methodical and perfectly paced. He gave my wife comfort for her discovery pool session and we never felt rushed or incomplete. He’s a calming presence, but he has the weight of thousands of dives of experience behind him. He’s also funny, fun, and interesting. Oh, and he had some great dining recommendations too. If you’re staying anywhere close to Grand Anse (or even if you’re not), go here. We were at Spice Island and his shop is essentially 90 seconds from our room.
Can’t sing his and his partner’s praises highly enough. Absolutely phenomenal experience. – via
