Skydive Santa Barbara is a skydive center in California and a member of the United States Parachute Association (USPA).
Skydive Santa Barbara is home of David Hughes, 22 year veteran in the sport, British Skydiving Champion (1986), a member of the World Record 126 person formation (1987) as well as a member of the 232 person World Record attempted in 1994. Dave’s professional instructors are all U.S.P.A. rated and teach safety as the number one priority. Additionally, we have installed state-of-the-art, computerized automatic activation devices on all rigs. Skydive Santa Barbara is located at the Lompoc Airport, which is a 10 minute drive from the Pacific Ocean and about 45 minutes north of Santa Barbara off Highway 101. Being close to the ocean gives us warm winters and cool summers; ideal for a sporting activity, not too hot or cold. On the ride to altitude check out Santa Barbara, Point Conception and Vandenberg Air Force Base. After you jump you will presented with a “First Jump Certificate”. As well as the fantastic ocean views, Lompoc has the Purisima Golf Course and the Danish Village at Solvang half an hour drive away. Friends and family are welcome to come and watch. So come and check out the friendliest Skydiving Center in California. We will do out best to make you feel at home.

I recently went skydiving with Santa Barbara Skydive, and it was nothing short of an exhilarating adventure! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and incredibly reassuring, especially for a first-timer like myself.
Our instructors were not only experienced and knowledgeable but also had a great sense of humor, which really helped to ease any nerves. They thoroughly explained the process, safety procedures, and what to expect, making us feel comfortable and well-prepared for the jump.
The dive itself was an unforgettable experience – the rush of free-falling, the breathtaking views of the Santa Barbara coastline, and the serene parachute descent. It was a perfect blend of adrenaline and awe-inspiring beauty. The equipment felt very secure, and safety was clearly a top priority for the team.
Special thanks to our instructors who were fantastic guides throughout this thrilling experience. Their professionalism and passion for skydiving were evident, making our adventure even more memorable.
I can’t recommend Santa Barbara Skydive enough for anyone looking for a safe, exhilarating, and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Whether you’re a seasoned jumper or a first-timer, this place is perfect for all. Can’t wait to go back for another jump! – via

Words cannot express what an experience this is!! The views and the people that work here are hands down the BEST! Everybody I encountered was so friendly, insightful, and made you even more excited to jump. I was nervous before I drove over, but as soon as I stepped foot onto the airport grounds.. a sense of calm came over me. This was a magical adventure and I am so happy I had the opportunity to jump with family, and friends that solo jump all the time. Shout-out to Zach for being a phenomenal instructor!!! He went over everything perfectly and I had such a fun time talking about the views on the way down. I felt safe the entire time. Don’t think, JUST DO IT! I will definitely be jumping again! – via

My instructor David O’Neil was so calming and nice!!! He made it a amazing experience for me. Recommend this place with the ocean views! – via

The experience was good. Get ready to be jammed into a plane so tight that you can’t even breathe. The plane probably fit 10 people and there was 20 or.more of us in there. Also don’t recommend the video. What a waste of money. The person taking the video is the one that is attached to you tandem so you basically get a video of the side of your face. – via
