It was cool, but far overpriced. The all inclusive food was on par with a 2 or 3 star hotel continental breakfast, only it wasn’t hot. The breakfast and lunch were both barely lukewarm. The snack booths are pizza slices and Lay’s potato chips. Don’t expect much. The alcohol was basically only bottled stuff or a very select few mixed drinks. Don’t expect to get custom mixed drinks – I asked, they said no. The place was very clean, and most of the staff was very friendly. The bathroom had hand towels to dry your hands. I am not a fan of paper towels because of the amount of waste it leaves, but I can’t imagine washing loads and loads of laundry every hour to keep up with all those hand towels is very eco-friendly either?? The park has many different “pool/small beaches” but not all are accessible because some are reserved for the dolphin experience, the stingray experience, etc.
We paid extra for the dolphin swim and the underwater walk. The underwater walk was beautiful, but very short. You basically walk in a circle about as large as a hotel room. The dolphin experience was cute, no complaints there, just really overpriced.
The photos at the end are insane. FOR REAL: Buy yourself a gopro and take your own pics, and you’ll still be cheaper than buying their photo package. You’ll be able to use your own camera/gopro in the underwater walk, but you won’t be allowed to use it on the dolphin experience. They want you to use their staff photographer so you pay out the butt for their photo package. Really scammy.
Overall, it was a neat experience, but not nearly worth the money and I never want to go back or recommend to anyone. – via
