What a wonderful little ski resort. For anyone wanting to get out on the slopes for a few runs at a very fair price, or in my case, with two little ones who you’re introducing to the joys of downhill skiing, this place is near-perfect. The instructors for beginners are, in our experience, wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and effective at their job, making the experience fun and rewarding for my children. The bunny slope is VERY easy, so as to not intimidate even the youngest/newest skier. The lodge is small but cozy and sure to have a warm fire going, while the concession has the right amount of options for the family. The entire place has a very welcoming feel to it – as if you’re part of the Mt. Pleasant family, regardless whether you have been there or not. While Mt. Pleasant will not have the number of lifts, trails, concessions, etc. that some of the other regional resorts have, I cannot recommend the place enough to anyone wanting a fun, stress-free, and overall pleasant skiing experience. – via
