A good range of trails from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. Definitely the most fun mountain in cny. Only reason I gave four stars is because they need to open ptarmigan more. I’m an advanced skier and jecopie just isn’t cutting it. I love the central and northern peak trails I just wished the southern peak was open more. Also If glade is open you should definitely check it out. – via

Nice long trails and lifts. However, I could not get over the fact that that they did not build a wooden ramp or something to get on the double chair from the adjacent lodge!!. I had to take my skis off and climb a two foot ledge to get there. No wonder that lodge was empty and the lights not even on. It is is sad too since that lodge had more sunshine than the main one. Also, the so called beginner slope had a bigger hill at the bottom than anywhere else. Ther e was an easier drop on the opposite of the lift but it was not maintained and again, the lift was not designed to get people on from that side. How hard could it be to have the lift be approached from both sides. I saw something that they wanted to build another building. How about fix what you got? Next time I am going to take a photo. – via

Skiing around Syracuse isn’t worth supporting the anticompetitive business practices of Peter Harris, owner of both Labrador and Song and now defunct by his hands, Toggenburg. Please venture East or West for your snow sports until an independent and healthy ski marketplace can be revitalized in Syracuse. – via
