Visited on 4 February 2023. We arrived around 7:45am to buy our lift tickets and sign up our kids for group lessons (you can’t buy anything online or ahead of time). The ticket purchase was pretty easy. The first problem was the youth ski school, classes start every hour and you pay about 32 per kid for 90 minutes of group instruction. Our kids started at 9am. The washed up 60 year old hippie instructor didn’t finish the 1.5 hour lesson because he was “worn out man” at 10am. Nobody on the staff seemed to care and if you ask them anything they walk away.
On to the slopes, the beginners area is a nightmare. It is situated right outside of the first aid building and they transport injured people right through the middle of all the beginners at top speed. This is unsafe and also traumatic for kids to see. By the way, we were in that area for about an hour and they brought 4 patients down in stretchers. This brings me to my next point. There is no limit on lift ticket sales, they sell and sell and sell until the mountain is so full that you literally can ski safely.
We were very excited to go on out first family trip and this experience really was heartbreaking. You could not pay me to go back. 0/10. Save your money, go anywhere else. – via
