This fair had a lot of unique events every day, such as a antique tractor pull, a rodeo, a canning demonstration, and a frying pan throwing contest for women, to name a few. Each barn had a different theme: one was for homemade quilts, one for the biggest veggies grown and best livestock, others for vendors. In terms of food, the best was corn on the cob with everything on it for $5 (worth it). Admission wasn’t too bad ($10 for adults), but overall food prices were too high, even for inflation ($7 for a meat skewer). There were rides and a tent for young kids that had planned activities. Every night, they released hot air balloons. – via
