Kudos to Christine from Mike’s Paddle for stellar customer service. I was looking for a light-weight wetsuit jacket for teaching swim lessons. After several back and forth texts, about products and sizing, Christine took the the time to call me directly, but soon realized she did not have my size in the jacket we determined was best. I thanked her and hung up. Unsolicited, she called the manufacturing company to see if they had my size in stock and immediately called me back to tell me how to order through them. Although she did not make the sale for her company, she did make a fan! I already received my jacket and love it! Thank you, Christine! I will spread the word!

Great vibe at Mike’s Paddle! Excellent place to hop in a rental kayak for a chill scenic paddle. Good spot for beginners, easy ocean access for the more experienced. Awesome staff, beautiful views, easy accessibility. – via

Took the L1 class, taught by Meg. The class size (5 people per 1 instructor) was perfect. It was tough, but really fun and Meg was amazing and patient. I’m considering taking a private lesson to work on some things I want to get better at, but the L1 class was very comprehensive. And if you fall in, the water is very gentle and not too cold (I didn’t wear a wetsuit, and was fine). – via
