This place is hands down one of the best ski resort in a United States. After skiing various different mountains this resort definitely provides you a wide variety of terrain right of the main base, without having to traverse multiple lifts. Skiing down the rendezvous bowl from Arial Tram was a great experience with lots of awesome terrain and out of world views. – via

Amazing views from the top of the tram on clear days and amazing skiing on powder days! Keep in mind this mountain is STEEP so even most of the blue runs are not well suited to intermediate skiers. Plan accordingly, and if you go with a group of all experts, you’ll have a blast! The lifts and gondolas are all fairly easy to get between and no way to get too lost since nearly all the runs funnel back to the main base area (though don’t go too far skier’s left off of Sublette). Lines are manageable when all lifts are open, but on huge fresh snow days, expect a delayed opening with longer lines, especially if it’s a weekend. Best restaurant on the hill is definitely Piste at the top of the Bridger gondola. There’s a full dining and bar experience up on the second floor, but our favorite was lunch option was the slightly hidden cafe on the first floor. Great fresh pizza there! Also the most “bang for your buck” in terms of food & quality. Plus coffee, tea, fresh waffles, sandwiches, and more. Enjoy! – via

I am not sure about the 5th star. I mean, the runs are g-r-e-a-t. Period. But the story of the pay-parking, from 10 to 35 depending on time and areas, is not wonderful and you feel not welcome if you are not in a (wonderful but expensive) hotel in the village. Ski domain is not very big, and runs can become easily crowded. Quality of sking in long valleys between lines of trees, from top to bottom, with 2000ft vertical drop, is breathtaking…. and yes, this deserves 5* (maybe 6, especially early in the morning when it is not too crowded). Chairifts are sometimes kind-of-iron-only… this does not deserve 5* but at least there is footrest. There are also good gondolas. Ski resort is very good for intermediate-advanced. Of course there is a beginner area, but you will enjoy more if you are advanced. – via
