We did the Introductory Scuba Diving day trip. We had a beautiful day out on the reef. It was professional, the materials provided and lunch were good. We even saw a turtle and clown fish!
It did, however, feel like they were trying to squeeze as much extra money out of us as they could. The introductory scuba diving class was mainly us posing underwater in front of a camera (which cost $50 extra to get), and it didn't last very long. One of the girls in my group struggled to get one of the divers' instructions, after 5 to 10 minutes she asked to try again but he said that as lunch was soon they were running out of time and would go without her. She didn't get her money back and it didn't feel quite justified as he wasn't very patient with her and it seems that if she wasnt the last group she would've had more time to try.
The atmosphere between the staff is quite tense and confrontational, especially seeing the way Joey speaks to her staff. It doesn't give the boat the best atmosphere.
All in all the tour was beautiful and we really enjoyed it, but there are some things that could've been worked on to make it even better! Thanks. - via
