We had an excellent experience in the jungle! We spent Christmas in the jungle, playing football and singing and dancing with children in the villages. Everyone is nice and friendly. We had to change our itinerary because of cusco's strike action and spent about eight days in the jungle. But I think it was well worth the experience! We swam in the Amazon River, went to look for animals by boat, hiking and stargazing. I really enjoy my time in nature, although there is no signal and wifi is slow, but how many days in life can I really put down my gadgets and enjoy spending time with my friends? We met guests from all over the world at the lodge, and everyone was happy to share their stories. I enjoyed meeting people from different walks of life and hearing different life stories. - via
