Gudauri is a perfect place for paragliding. And the rate is quite cheap compared to paragliding in other countries. Considering the price also includes the hotel pick-up/drop off in Tbilisi and the video, we think it's well worth the money.
My friend and I booked a 45-60 minutes fly. We were lucky that the weather was so good that we ended up over 1 hour in the air.
My fly was great. The pilot explained everything clearly and took me into the cloud and let me try steering the fly myself. I weared an hiking jacket as well as a jumpsuit/glove the pilot brought me but still felt freezing up in the sky. It's highly recommended to wear a warm jacket and even a scarf.
We had some misunderstanding about the video taking and it was later well explained. - via
