Amazing Experience
The driver was very punctual and patient. He arrived at our hotel 20min early, and waited for us with free drinks after we descended the mountain even though we were late by over an hour. He was very accommodating and helpful, and we even hired him as a driver for the rest of our stay in Bali. He provided many recommendations for affordable but safe places to visit and eat, including a secret waterfall.
Our two guides were also very proactive and accommodating. They provided us with water and breakfast to consume along the trek, and were very willing to guide us through obstacles and act as our photographers at the summit. They also rendered immediate medical aid to my friend who fell off the trail during the hike and experienced severe muscle cramps.
Even though we were (very) amateur mountain climbers, our driver and guides made this an extremely rewarding and safe experience. The ascent and descent were certainly tough, but the views and breakfast at the summit was without a doubt worth it. - via
