Fantastic experience when my family, me, the better half and 2 young adult children in their 20s took the Open Sea Dive licence. Adrin aka Macha is a decades experienced instructor with wonderful approach and shared lots of his knowledge. Really cool.
Donny who coached us in the confined waters at the pool made it comfortable with his repeated instructions and patience, so do not worry too much even if you feel apprehensive. These guys will give you confidence ahead of the Open Waters dives.
Our instructor Francis aka Acis at Tioman, is a really experienced, warm hearted fun master, sharing his skills and expertise in such simple ways. His assistant Pacat acted as support. We gained lots from these guys and felt safe all the time in the sea and during the dives.
We stayed at Tekek 1108 recommended by Macha and it is a lovely sea front chalet well located to many good restaurants and foods. Totally enjoyed it.
All in, just go on and sign up without hesitation. I of course can't be sure if there are other better dive instructors or centers but I can fully recommend Sea Monkeys because for us they are way more than good enough, taught the skills well, ensured our safety at all times plus the bonus of a very fun experience.
