I completed the AOWD course with instructor Roy and received Nitrox certification from the school owner and certified Nitrox specialist Aaron.
I really liked the quality of information delivery because there were examples from the instructors' diving experience, plenty of advice, and discussions. I felt I could ask any question and get an answer or advice.
I appreciated the quality of the equipment. I didn't notice any wear or damage; everything was in good condition.
I enjoyed the dive sites. I'm not a fan of wreck diving, but near Boracay, I found out that I like it: schools of fish, corals, huge ships on the bottom, and even an airplane.
I went through deep diving, buoyancy, Nitrox, navigation, and night diving. Everything was interesting and useful. Roy was very helpful and supportive.
The cost of the course seems higher than in some other schools, but I'm sure that the price is justified. I liked that the school has showers with hot water, lockers for storage, complimentary tea and coffee, and overall a pleasant atmosphere. Of course, equipment quality is also important to me. Perhaps it's worth paying for all of this. As for other schools, I don't know. - via
