I had an exceptional experience at BICD this past September. They were incredibly responsive and helped me organize a program to complete 3 specialties in just under a week. They picked me up from the airport and I was able to stay in an apartment on campus with a kitchen and balcony which was incredible considering the early scuba mornings. The restaurant they have on sigh it a great place to study and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The community is wonderful with everyone supporting each other and spending time outside the dives and class time, so I am definitely going back to do my dm in the future. As for the diving, my deep instructor, Kelsey, was beyond kind, informed and professional. I had a lot of fun on all my dives with her and feel very confident in my deep diving ability thanks to that course. Additionally, I took the navigation course and my instructor, Steven, was one of the most experienced divers I have met in my 10 years of diving. He was flexible with class times so we were able to get through the course work at a faster pace without sacrificing any understanding. I went from not knowing how to use a compass and just following the dive master without knowing where I was while diving, to feeling confident in my ability to remember exactly where I have gone in the dive and how to get to my end point. I am so grateful for my experience here and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in diving whether you have never done it before or are a very experienced diver, they have something to offer you.
