Sunn Odyssey Divers is the best kind of dive shop: a conscientious, personable, local shop. I thought that Ashley and Kelly were top notch divemasters: super knowledgeable, service-oriented, great at spotting things underwater, and had a very strong focus on safety which I really appreciated. Nick and Karen (the owners) were similarly personable and accommodating. As is common with this kind of shop, the dive group was reasonably small and most divers on the boat seemed to be fairly experienced. Despite the mostly experienced clientele, my dive buddy was a newer diver who likes to take her time setting descending and the divemasters did a fantastic job accommodating her and making her feel comfortable in the water. I thought they also did a good job of allowing the other divers to get their full bottom time in even though my buddy and I had come up a bit earlier due to our air consumption. I thought the dive sites they took us to were really good. Though I only dove with them for one day (due to the length of time I was in Freeport), I would absolutely come back and dive with them for several more days. - via
