I recently visited Coco Diving Center and had a decent experience. The 4-star rating is mainly due to the challenges I faced with the equipment. Carrying all the gear including the heavy air tanks from the dive shop to the boat is quite a workout, especially for ladies, and the 100m distance adds to the effort. Loading everything on the boat in chest-high water was also a challenge as the equipment is bulky and heavy. Another issue was that not all sizes of fins were available, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, some of the equipment was outdated, and my BCD's air release valve got stuck underwater mid trip, which was a bit concerning.
On the other hand, all other aspects were as usual. However, I found it unusual that all dives were one-tank only. I'm used to two-tank dives, which I think wastes less time going out and back in on a boat. Despite these challenges, the diving center provides a decent experience overall. - via
