I did my Open Water Course with El Dive on 22-23 February 2024, and it was the best experience ever! All the staff at el Dive was very kind and professional, all equipment was functioning well and organisation was superb. We went out on small boats with max 1 instructor for 2 people.
A special shout out to Mark, my dive instructor, for his professionalism, patience and reassurance. His explanations were the clearest and he made sure we mastered the skills that we were practicing without ever rushing us.
We got to see some interesting marine life such as turtles, crocodilefish and electric clams, and some really nice pictures and videos were taken and sent on the same day.
There's also a nice bakery opposite the shop to get breakfast before going out :)
I would definitely recommend El Dive, and Mark, if you're thinking of doing your Open Water course in El Nido! - via
