We had a fantastic experience on our snorkeling trip with Cabo Pulmo Watersports. They came highly recommended by a friend, and we couldn't have been happier with our trip. They set us up with quality gear - wetsuits, snorkel gear - and a wonderful guide Andy, who was very knowledgeable about all of the fish we saw, and even spotted several sea turtles. She started out the trip by asking what we wanted to see so she could plan the stops based on our wish list. Though we stopped at 3-4 places and did some whale watching in between, it never felt rushed and we saw so much incredible marine life - tons of colorful fish, sea lions, turtles, whales. Andy let us spend as much or as little time as we wanted in each spot.
We also absolutely love that the community came together in the 90's in support of the marine reserve, and abandoned fishing so they could focus on conservation and tourism instead. This has resulted in one of the most successful marine reserves in the world, with an increase of 450% in fish population. We love supporting regenerative, eco-experiences like these. We will definitely be back - hopefully to learn to dive next time! - via
