From the moment you exit the clamor of the golf carts in the street and enter the sand covered driveway you are entering the serenity of Ramons. Then you meet Jose at the front desk who already knows you by name and you immediately feel at home. And that is just the first 2 minutes… Then everyone knows your name, including Wendy the hostess at the restaurant, Jack the waiter, and Nate at the bar. While San Pedro is a very cool place to visit being able to come back to the quiet of Ramons makes it that much better. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming you just want to stay a few more days. After seeing what else is available on Ambergas Caye there is no other place to stay than Ramons… We shall return !! - via
