I scheduled a trip to La Ventana and found Jose to be super super helpful with both gear and lodging support. He was incredibly prompt in his responses and fully transparent about every part of the transaction. I went ahead and made a deposit for the lodging and gear, but a little over a month before my trip I had some unexpected issues come up that meant I would need to cancel. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get the deposit back, but Jose was so prompt and understanding. He returned my deposit within an hour of getting my message. I was blown away by his hospitality and professionalism. I'm really bummed that I won't be able to do this trip, but given this experience I'm definitely going to use Nomad in the future. - via
