My fiancé and I wanted to get scuba certified and we were looking for a dive shop in the Appleton / Green Bay area that best met our needs. We wanted a dive shop that provided a full offering of the PADI classes,: reputable, certified and experienced training and equipment service staff; fully stocked dive equipment inventory; a social presence offering regularly scheduled local diving events and travel dive opportunities, and a welcoming personal touch.
We visited the four dive shops in the Appleton / Green Bay area and were most impressed with Green Bay Scuba. They offer all the training, services, support and equipment we were looking for, have a very active social calendar, and after spending an hour talking with Barb, we knew it was the right dive shop for us.
The Open Water Dive classes were great, the mix of book, video, and in-person classroom provided the perfect learning environment for us. The dive instructor staff is amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They also offer online classes if that better fits your needs.
We definitely made the right choice and look forward to joining the Green Bay Scuba family for the summer Wednesday night dives and winter dive travel destinations. - via
