I don't recommend Edmonton Ski Club for ski lessons for young kids. I had my son, who is 4, do two ski lessons. There are too many kids per instructor and the top of the magic carpet is too high for the little ones, so the method is to have the kids side step up the hill. For a 4 year old, this is a bit of a hopeless endeavor. My husband ended up paying for a lesson where he did all the "teaching". I can't comment on lessons in older age ranges. - via
