The lodge is located next to a beautiful stream nestled barren green scenery of hills. The hosts Julia and Shane were friendly, generous and family-like. The lady of the lodge cooked for us real hearty meals. The captain of the Sunspy, of their live-board, did a stellar job at taking us to all the good spots around the PoorKnights. The live-aboard is simple, but comfortable. Their first mate, Liston, guided us on our dives at the PoorKnights and the Canterbury, with an adventurous spirit and confidence. I felt comfortable and safe, diving and travelling on my latest dive adventure. Wifi is limited, for me that’s a good thing, since our group bonded over games, coffee and wine. All in all, had a blast. Will come again. - via
