I dived here with my 2 sons. I have dived all over the world for over 35 years, over 1000 dives. This operation is really poor and I would say, dangerous. It is really a tourist operation for try diving, definitely not a 5 star PADI dive centre. We were the only certified divers on board, the rest were all try divers. The equipment is so old we had to get it replaced. The hoses were all perished and cracked from age and the gauge was completely obscured due to age etc. The hoses were also really short, barely reaching to mouth since they had been shortened over time to replace connections etc. We got different equipment but I think it was taken from the try divers on the boat, who were given our ancient equipment.
No buddy checks were done for the other divers and when doing ours the staff tried to rush us into the water and scoffed at our checks.
Our dive master was nice and we enjoyed the dive, there is plenty of life, but the operation overall is terrible. They were very pushy for online reviews. I imagine the 4.5 rating must be try divers being really impressed with the underwater world and the diving experience because this is definitely not a 4.5 star dive centre and I can't believe PADI has reviewed the standards any time recently.
